Founded by Lance Lopdell — commercial helicopter pilot, aviation firefighter, and professionally trained ag-drone operator — FieldX operates with a level of safety, precision, and reliability that goes well beyond what typical drone contractors deliver.

Our Team
Lance Lopdell — Chief Remote Pilot Lance holds a Commercial Helicopter Licence, works as an aviation firefighter with Airservices Australia, and completed his agricultural drone training through Airborne Solutions NZ. That combination of manned aviation experience and emergency services discipline shapes how every FieldX job is planned, assessed, and executed.
Tamara Lopdell — Operations Manager Tamara brings a professional finance and banking background to the operational side of FieldX. She handles all client enquiries, scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and compliance records. When you contact FieldX, you're dealing with someone who takes the admin as seriously as Lance takes the flying — so bookings are smooth, documentation is always in order, and you're never left chasing an update.
