No. As long as we have clear instructions and access to the paddock or property, we can operate independently. Many growers provide site access and product instructions, allowing FieldX to operate independently without supervision.
We specialise in sugarcane, horticulture, pastures, and broadacre crops. We’re also experienced with cattle stations and more challenging terrain across North Queensland.
No. You supply the product; FieldX provides the aircraft, equipment, and precision aerial application service. This gives you full control over what is applied.
Weather (especially wind and rain), daylight hours, and peak seasonal demand. We monitor forecasts closely and work with you to hit the best possible spray windows.
For standard jobs we recommend contacting us 4–6 weeks ahead. Peak spray windows (especially after rain events) book out quickly, so earlier is better if you have specific timing in mind.
We have a $500 minimum job value. Most spraying or spreading jobs start from around 20–30 hectares, depending on terrain and application rate.
Yes — we are licensed and equipped for night and pre-dawn operations. This gives you significantly more flexibility around weather windows and tight spray schedules.
Application accuracy is maintained to centimetre-level precision using RTK GPS positioning and flow-controlled delivery systems. We can adjust droplet size and application rate on the job for optimal coverage and minimal drift.
Yes — every completed job includes comprehensive digital application records, including flight logs, GPS coverage mapping, rate data, and supporting imagery where appropriate.
Safety first. If conditions go outside safe limits we’ll reschedule at no extra charge. We stay in close contact and will always give you early notice so you can plan accordingly.
